‘Fiesta’ atmosphere kicks off Bar exams
SOME 5,012 law graduates started to take the Bar exams yesterday amid a festive atmosphere provided by schools and supporters.
A portion of Taft Avenue in Manila was closed to vehicular traffic for the occassion and became a virtual parking lot for supporters of examinees.
Many of the supporters wore shirts indicating their schools.
Some commercial establishments along Taft Avenue put out extra tables and chairs in anticipation of customers, especially after the exams.
The Bar examinations are being held at the De La Salle University campus during the four Sundays of September.
Meanwhile, part of Roxas Boulevard in Manila was also closed to traffic for the annual “Alay Lakad” yesterday.
Motorists were diverted from the portion of Roxas Boulevard from Quirino Avenue to the area near Rizal Park, T.M. Kalaw Street and Intramuros in Manila.
