Malacanang tameme sa IIRC report

TIKOM ang bibig ng Malakanyang sa kung ano ang naging resulta ng  kanilang pagbusisi sa multi-sectoral investigation report kaugnay ng madugong hostage taking incident noong Agosto  23  na nagresulta ng pagkamatay ng walong Chinese tourists mula Hong Kong.

Sinabi ni Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa na natapos na nilang dalawa ni chief presidential legal counsel Eduardo de Mesa ang pagrebisa sa naging rekumendasyon ng Incident Investigation and Review Committee (IIRC) team.

“We’re prepared at any time na tawagin kami ng pangulo (for a meeting with the president) perhaps within the day,” wika ni Ochoa.

“As far as we are concerned [it is done] but the president might have some questions later na kelangan naming balikan so we cannot say for sure na tapos na tapos na nga ba. We cannot say when this will be made public [because] it will depend on the discussion.”

Nauna nang ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Aquino kina Ochoa at De Mesa na pag-aralang mabuti ang naging rekumendasyon ng IIRC.

Nakapaloob sa IIRC report ang recommended sanctions para sa ilang government at police officials at media practitioners para sa sinasabing poorly-handled hostage situation na kinastigo ng buong mundo.

“It’s possible that I may subscribe to the entirety, I may add to the recommendations, I may diminish some of the actions,” dagdag ni Ochoa.  Kris Jose
