Metro police on full alert for ‘Juan’
POLICE in Metro Manila went on full alert on Sunday to help residents cope with the possible effects of typhoon “Juan.”
Chief Superintendent Nicanor Bartolome, NCRPO chief, placed his men on full alert Sunday noon.
Meanwhile, the Philippine Coast Guard said it will postpone its anniversary celebration for the moment as it prepares for “Juan.”
The Coast Guard was to mark its anniversary this coming week.
“We will postpone our celebration for the moment because of our preparations for ‘Juan.’ Our personnel and equipment are on standby in Luzon,” Coast Guard commandant Admiral Wilfredo Tamayo said. Julian Labores
