Missing British women still puzzled NBI
THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) yesterday admitted that it is still facing a blank wall on the whereabouts of the missing British woman identified as Carole Day.
The bureau, however, insisted it is still gathering information in order to locate her as soon as possible.
NBI spokesman Special Investigator IV Cecilio Zamora said relatives and friends of Day raised P200, 000 cash reward to any person who can give information about her whereabout.
Zamora said all regional offices of NBI were tapped to locate Day.
It was learned that Day was last seen on Sept. 12 when she left the Corporate Inn Hotel in Manila and boarded a taxi for Makati City.
She was reported missing for a month and her family and friends even created Facebook account to appeal to the public for any information regarding her whereabouts. Jing Villamente
