NPC ‘Freedom Run’ list up
THE National Press Club of the Philippines announced that registration in now in full swing for the 1st NPC ‘Freedom Run’ slated Oct. 24 at the historic Intramuros in Manila.
NPC president Jerry Yap said Club members and kins can registered in this fund-raising event for free at the NPC Secretariat, while running enthusiats and health buff can also get the entry form at the Patafa Office inside the Rizal Memorial track oval in Adriatico St., Manila.
Events at stake are 3k (15-under), 5k and 10k with an entry fee pegged at P300 and P500, respectively.

“After the successful media invitational badminton, the NPC is looking forward for a banner year with the holding of the ‘Freedom Run’. This is part of our effort to help our local runners while raising additional fund to support the various project of the Club as its celebrating its 58th founding anniversary on Oct. 29, “ said Yap.
Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim was invited to led sports and local officials in the event set at 6a.m. infront of the NPC building across Letren College.
Elegant trophies and cash prizes awaits for the winners (men and women class) in this event presented by the Philippine Charity Sweeptakes Office, Bureau of Customs and HEAD Equipment with the support of the Philippine Sports Commission, Unilever Philippines, Vibram Fivefingers and San Miguel Corp.
Yap also extended his invitation to all school organizations, running club, non-government organizations, the Philippine National Police and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
