“More or less, only 40 bus firms plied their routes Monday. Our data shows there are 140 bus operators plying routes not only on Epifanio delos Santos Avenue [EDSA] but also on other thoroughfares in Metro Manila,” ayon kay Chairman Nelson Laluces sa isang interview sa dzXL radio.
“We will give bus operators notices to explain, then we will conduct hearings,” dagdag pa ni Laluces.
“Whatever they want to call it, what happened Monday was a strike because there was a shortage of public utility vehicles. That’s why our office monitored to see which firm plied its route and which took part in the strike,” ayon pa kay Laluces.
