Although the incident took place last Saturday, the incident was only known to the police late Monday afternoon after the former mayor of Ungkaya Pukan town called the police and reported the said incident.
The victims had just come from a fishing trip when they were siezed by the gunmen led by a certain Commander Puwi Ambali, reports said.
The victims were identified Ummal Tahil, Danny Aukasa, Pandemeng Jamil, Dayson Dalis, Samboy Kuhapoh, Haymi Taugung, Pikal Bono, Faisal Aukasa, Rolly Dalis, Tolloh Kuhapoh and Hamja Tahil.
