Couple nabbed for selling shabu in Pasay
POLICE operatives have arrested a couple and seized some 200 grams of ‘shabu’ worth nearly P1 million during a buy-bust operation in Pasay City late Wednesday afternoon, police reported.
Reports identified the couple as Ronald Reyes, 43, and Andrea Torres, 22, both residents of Pasay City.
Reyes and Torres were arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-National Capital Region Unit (CIDG-NCRU) in a buy-bust operation along Tramo st. in Pasay City Wednesday afternoon.
Senior Supt. Joel Napoleon Coronel, CIDG-NCRU chief, said the suspects were immediately nabbed by operatives after selling to 200 grams of “shabu” with a street value of P900, 000.
The two were immediately brought to the CIDG-NCRU office in Camp Crame for investigation while charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Drug Act of 2002 are being readied against them. Anthony Vargas
