Four-year-old girl dies in Luna, Isabela road mishap
A four-year-old girl was killed and four others were injured at dawn Saturday after a Mitsubishi Pajero van slammed onto an overloaded tricycle along the Santiago-Tuguegarao diversion road in Barangay Dadap village in Luna, Isabela, police said.
Police Sr. Insp. Calixto Labang, Luna police chief, said the fatality was identified as Danica Babaran.
Wounded were Danica’s parents Dandy, 26, and Jenalyn, 26, both residents of Cabaruan, Cauayan City, and her cousins Christian, 11; Janela, 10, and Eric John, all surnamed Balmes and residents of Mambabanga village here.
