PH tameme sa China

NAGHIHINAY-HINAY pa ang Malakanyang sa paghahain ng diplomatic protest sa China matapos mapaulat na  nagtatayo ang huli ng lighthouse sa Spratly Islands.

“Maselan kasi ang paglalahad ng diplomatic protest,” ayon kay Presidential Communications Operations Office head Herminio Coloma Jr., “Di maaaring gawin lang ‘yan. Nagmamasid at nagsusuri nang husto ang ating awtoridad hinggil sa bagay na yan.”

Aniya, inatasan na nila ang  Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na tutukan ang isyu.

Samantala, sinabi ni Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Secretary Ricky Carandang na hindi nababahala ang Malakanyang sa ginawa ng China dahil ito ay itinuturing nilang “fairly benign.”

“The structures weren’t built yesterday. We’re aware of them. We’ve (claimants) all agreed not to take any provocative action. There’s a code of conduct that we all want to adhere to,” anito.

Sa ulat, nagtayo ang China ng lighthouse sa Subi Reef, pinagtatalunang lugar sa South China Sea.
