“Rabusa’s expose of hand carrying P5 million per month for 15 months to then AFP chief of staff Angelo Reyes totalling at least P75 million makes Reyes a candidate for a non-bailable plunder case,” giit pa ni Golez, dating chairman ng House committee on national defense and security na noon ay nagsagawa rin ng imbestigasyon kaugnay sa kaso ni dating AFP Comptroller Carlos Garcia.

“The Office of the Ombudsman should immediately start the plunder case proceedings against Reyes. They have a very credible star witness in Col. George Rabusa plus documentary evidence. Rabusa’s name figured prominently in our committee on national defense investigation in 2004-2005. The Ombudsman got reports on this investigation which included Rabusa’s unexplained wealth, but strangely did not pursue the Rabusa angle. That’s understandable because Reyes during that time was a very powerful person and an apparent Malacanang protectorate,” sinabi pa ni Golez. Meliza Maluntag
