Police officer killed inside hotel in Zamboanga
A POLICE officer was shot dead by four gunmen yesterday inside a hotel in Zamboanga City.
Reports reaching the PNP’s central operation center in Camp Crame said that Inspector Abdulhamin Bandahala was killed at around 7:45 a.m. inside the Azenith Royal Hotel on Governor Camins Avenue in the said city.
The reports identified the suspects as Police Officer 2 Bensaudi Sakiram Garwas of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Police Office, Tulawie Kibar, Pala Hassan Cabrera and Alhaser Labor.
Papers recovered from the victim identified him as an ARMM Police Office’s liaison with the regional port authority in Cotabato City.
The suspects were arrested and under investigation at the Zamboanga City Police Station.
