3 Chinese nationals arrested for selling shabu
MANILA, Philippines – Three Chinese nationals were arrested after trying to sell some 8.5 eight kilos of ‘shabu’ worth P35 million to anti-narcotic authorities early Wednesday, evening, February 23, in Parañaque City, reports said Thursday.
The reports, sent by Metro Manila Police Chief Director Nicanor Bartolome, identified the three Chinese nationals arrested in the buy-bust operations as Long Zong, alias Sonny Long, Chan Pon Lou and Cheung Lueng.
The three Chinese nationals were nabbed by elements of the PNP-Regional Anti-Illgal Drugs Task Force (PNP-RAIDTF) in a buy-bust operations at the parking lot of Mercury Drug Store on the corner of Dona Soledad Ave. and Russia St., Better Living Subd., Brgy. Don Bosco in Parañaque City.
Aside from the seized ‘shabu’, PNP-RAIDTF personnel also seized two luxury vehicles, a Toyota Fortuner (ZLU-663) and a Toyota Camry (XNZ-453), the reports said.
The reports said that seized luxury vehicles were being used by the three Chinese nationals in their illegal activities, while the inventory of the seized pieces of evidence were conducted by the police at the site.
The three Chinese nationals were brought to the headquarters of the National Capital Regional Police Office (Ncrpo) for investigation and could face charges of violations of the Comprehensive Drugs Act of 2002. Anthony Vargas
