3 foreigners nabbed for selling ‘shabu’
ANTI-DRUG authorities arrested three foreign nationals during a buy-bust operation in front of a popular shopping mall in Bacoor, Cavite Tuesday afternoon, police reported Wednesday.
Reports reaching Camp Crame identified the three as :Victor John Oko, 37, a Nigerian; Pedro Mendez, 34, a Guinean; and Bob Douglas, 32, a South African.
They were nabbed in a buy-bust operation by a team of operatives from the PNP’s Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (AID-SOTF) in the vicinity of SM City mall in Bacoor at around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The buy-bust operation was carried out by the AID-SOTF team headed by Chief Insp. Harold Aglipay in coordination with the Bacoor Municipal Police station and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Southern Tagalog Region.
Three plastic sachets containing some 100 grams of ‘shabu,’ different ID cards and a bundle of undetermined amount of money were seized from the foreigners, reports said.
The three foreigners were brought to Camp Crame for investigation and proper disposition and possible filing of charges of violations of RA 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Anthony Vargas
