Radio DJ found dead in Abra
MANILA, Philippines – a part-time radio disc jockey was found dead on Monday from mulitple stab wounds inside his quarters at the radio station he was working in Bangued town Abra, police reports said Tuesday.
Reports reaching the PNP’s Central Operation Center in Camp Crame on Tuesday identified the victim as Cirilo Galardo, 38 and works as a part-time disc jockey at DWWM spirit 96.6 FM, from Tayum, Abra.
The reports said, the victim’s blooded body was found inside his room at the base of the radio station he was working, by his niece, Joan Gallardo, 19, a student of Divine World College.
Gallardo’s body, which is on the early stage of decomposition, bore 13 stabbed and might be a victim of a robbery, the reports said.
The victim’s room was ransacked by still unknown suspects with several items such as a desktop and a laptop computer were missing.
