International community planning to launch attack against Ghadafi
THE international community is planning to take military offensive against Col . Moammar Gadhafi. They are not convinced by the ceasefire declaration being initiated by the Libyan ruler.
Amid reports that Gadhafi followers are still conducting military action against the rebels, the NATO forces together with the Arab nations are carefully studying a sweep military attack to the forces continuing to harm innocent civilians.
U.S. President Barack Obama has issued an ultimatum to Col. Gadhafi to leave Libya because according to him the terms of a UN Security Council resolution backing action to defend civilians were not negotiable.
France meanwhile through their Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bernard Valero said that they will remain vigilant and the declaration of Gadhafi in not an assurance that the people of Libya will be free.
Great Britain and France have a meeting with the NATO. As NATO Secretary General Andres Fogh Rasmussen confirmed, that they are in the final phase with regards to the planned military intervention.
British aircrafts are being deployed to air bases near Libya according to British Prime Minister David Cameron. Spain is offering that there two air bases can be used as air and naval bases in support to the offensive. Marjorie Dacoro
