P5M worth of drugs seized in Mandaue
ANTI-DRUG authorities seized some P5 million worth of cocaine and shabu following a buy-bust operation Thursday morning, March 31, in Mandaue City.
Reports reaching Camp Crame identified the arrested drug suspects as Parhana Ebrahim, Ali Dimasangay, Dandy Sultan, Palawan Datukunog and Raisa Dilinugon.
Mandaue City Police director, Senior Supt. Noel Gillamac, said that Ebrahim a.k.a. “Furuki” is the leader of the drug group that operates in the Central Visayas region.
The reports said that Ibrahim and his minions were arrested by anti-drug operatives of the Mandaue City Police office following a buy-bust operation at Zone 3, Barangay Mantuyong of the said city.
The reports said Ebrahim that was nabbed after she sold a pack of shabu worth P500 to an undercover policeman. A large plastic-sealed brick, believed to be containing one kilo of cocaine worth P5million, was also found in her possession.
A search on the suspect’s house also resulted to the arrest of the four others. A .38 caliber revolver with three live ammunition and P8,000 cash were seized from Dimasangay.
The reports added that a pack of shabu was found in the possession of Dilinogun, another pack from Datokunog while another .38-caliber revolver with two live ammunition was found on Sultan.
The five are brought to the Mandaue City police station for custody and proper disposition while the seized items were brought to the PNP Crime Laboratory. Anthony Vargas
