ASG bandits abduct Tsinoy trader in Jolo, Sulu
A WEALTHY Filipino-Chinese trader was snatched by suspected Abu Sayyaf (ASG) gunmen while on his way home in Jolo, Sulu Friday afternoon, April 29.
Lt. Colonel Randolph Cabangbang, spokesman for the military’s Western Mindanao Command (Westmincom), identified the latest abduction victim in Sulu as Nelson Lim, 56.
Lim, who owns a restaurant and a hardware store in downtown Jolo, was seized at gunpoint by seven armed men at around 5:45 pm while he was walking to his home in Sitio Lambayog in Brgy. Bus-Bus.

The get-away vehicle, reportedly registered to a certain Lala Bagatsing of Brgy. Sandah, was later recovered in the same village by pursuing troops of the Marine Batallion Landing Team (MBLT) 5. Anthony Vargas
