School principal shot dead in Batangas
MANILA, Philippines – a 56-year old highschool principal was shot to death by still unidentified lone gunman on Monday afternoon in a remote village in Batangas province.
Reports reaching the PNP’s central operations center in Camp Crame identified the victim as Julian Rianzares Jr., resident of Brgy. San Pedro in Sto. Tomas town, Batangas.
The reports said the shooting incident took place at around 12:05 p.m. at the Don Juan A. Pastor Memorial National High School in Brgy. Talaibon in Ibaan town. The victim works as principal for the said school.
The victim was shot several times in different parts of his body resulting to his instant death. The suspect reportedly fled immediately after the crime.
Elements of the Ibaan municipal police office are now conducting an investigation to determine the identity of the suspect and motive for the attack. Anthony Vargas
