Three men robbed Batangas bank
MANILA, Philippines – Three armed men were able to cart-away unknown amount of cash on shortly before noontime Thursday after robbing a rural-bank in a remote village in Batangas province, police reorts said.
Initial reports reaching Camp Crame, the PNP’s national headquarters in Manila, said that three men all armed with handguns barged inside the Rural Bank of Lobo at around 11:45am in Brgy. 4 in Sto. Tomas town Batangas.
The reports said the suspects were able to cart-away still unknown amount of cash from the bank before escaping on board a light-blue colored Hyundai van towards the direction of Tanauan City also in Batangas.
Police have launched a pursuit operations and have set-up a dragnet operations for the immediate arrest or capture of the suspects, reports said.
