ANG layo ng dating ng retoke ngayon sa mga seasoned cosmetic surgeon as compared to the the ones done during the 60s and the 70s.

Habang ginagawa natin ang ating deadlines, sinubukan naming panoorin ang walang tulugan show ng isang good-natured radio and teevee personality at nahambal talaga kami nang mapanood naming nagpi-perform doon ang isang seasoned singer na noong kanyang kabataan during the late 70s ay okay naman ang hitsura.

Ang kaso, mukhang di siya makuntento sa kanyang enhancement kaya mas pinakiputan pa niya ang ilong to the point na parang hindi na halos siya makahinga. Hakhakhak!

‘Yung pagiging tabingi ng kanyang mukha ay takable naman sana pero ang nakababaliw talaga ay ang additional recontouring of her nose na too obvious na tuloy ang kanyang pagiging retokada niya. Hakhakhak!

Which brings to mind another female singer of that era who seems not to be contented with her facial recontourings (facial recontourings raw, o! Hakhakhak!), she had another facial sculpting a couple of years ago.

Sa totoo, ‘yung dalawang contemporaries niya ay may konting pinagawa rin pero not to the point naman of almost ruining their natural comeliness.

Isdang pampano raw, o! Hakhakhak!

Hay, naku! perfect example ng kasabihang too much decoration destroys the position.

‘Yung una, she was never a beauty naman talaga and was even rumored to be a lesbian.

Hahahahaha!

‘Yun na!

Sa totoo, every time I get to see her on teevee, para na siyang caricature ng dating kagandahan niya. Hakhakhak!

Huwag na lang ‘yung tibong singer dahil hindi naman kami nanghihinayang sa kanya dahil inasmuch as she’s a gifted singer, she was not that famous as compared to the chanteuse we are talking about.

I also don’t understand why her once lustrous hair has now become scraggly and very much wanting of the usual sheen that it used to possess.

Kaya kung dati’y pantasya siya ng mga kalalakihan, this time they seem to be repelled by her bruhitic appearance. Hakhakhak!

How gross!

Survivor si Kim Chiu

IBANG klase ang metamorphosis ni Kim Chiu. Mula sa pagiging innocent teeny bopper na produkto ng talent search na ‘yun ng kanyang home studio, she’s now one of the stalwarts of ABS-CBN and is a highly respected actress as well.

Anyway, on August 22, her teevee soap (My Binondo Girl) that was shot partly in some parts of Hong Kong, is slated to detonate at the Primetime Bida of ABS-CBN right after the top- rating “100 Days To Heaven.”

At any rate, what makes the soap truly exciting is the presence of three interesting leading men whose personalities are very much different from one another.

Mantakin mo ba namang pagsama-samahin ang matangkad at leading man material talagang si Xian Lim, along with the boy-next-door appeal of  Matteo Guidicelli and the plebeian but veritably macho personality of Jolo Revilla, what do you expect but a different kind of chemistry that’s purely electrifying.

HOW so very funny.

Hahahahahaha! Ayoko ng plastic at tupperware, huh?) porke’t may mga press na dumalaw sa star for all seasons sa Batangas kamakailan. Hakhakhak!

What’s the big fuss, darling? Is it bad if some entertainment writers would want to have an inntimate tete-a-tete with the unfading winsome wife of Sen. Ralph Recto?

Since when did it become a sin to hobnob with the working press if and when an actress feels like it?

Kaya put a stop to your endless harpings about that controversial press visit in Batangas because that is something ordinary and not eyebrow-raisingly unique. Dati namang dumadalaw ang mga kaibigang press people ni Ate Vi, why are you making an issue out of it now?

Hakhakhak!

To each, his own ang ating drama, mga kapatid.

HE MADE people sit back and took notice when he made an impressive debut by way of that movie under Star Cinema with Jolina Magdangal an eon ago.

Today, his leading-lady is no longer in vogue (kaya nga mag-aasawa na lang..Hakhak- hak!) but he’s still very much in the running doing one soap after another.

Hakhakhak!

‘Yan ang maganda kapag health buff ang isang tao. He never gets old. He just mellows wonderflly well with time.

Mother Donna, the wind beneath Direk Carlo’s wings

That was the time when she was the perfect leading-lady material to the likes of Rudy Fernandez and other leading men of that era.

Honestly speaking, when it comes to beauty, there was not a scintilla of doubt that she was one of the loveliest of that golden era of Philippine cinema.

Sa totoo, minsan kaming napadalaw sa kanyang Makati residence with her publicist then Mar Cornes and I was palpably rendered speechless because of her awe-inspiring comeliness.

Para siyang diyosa nang makita namin without any make-up on her stunning face, her hazel eyes intense and Hollywoodesque.

Kaya nga nang ma-meet siya ni Direk Carlo J. Caparas ay it was love at first sight talaga and from then on, it’s been true love all the way.

With her around, nakasisiguro tayong magiging matagumpay ang proyektong ito.

Rhian Ramos nakaaalarma na ang pangangayayat

WHAT’S happening with Rhian Ramos?

Dati-rati naman, and this was the time when she was doing that top-rating soap with Dingdong Dantes, she was admittedly healthy and physically fit.

“Mang Inasal loves Filipino culture and music, especially our very own OPM. We believe that helping promote our own brand of music and artists is a part of our responsibility as a corporate citizen,” ayon kay Enri Luzuriaga, Marketing Manager, Mang Inasal.

“Giving our new artists their much-deserved break is an inherent value to Mang Inasal. We as a company had  also a humble beginning before becoming one of the biggest fastfood chains in the Philippines today,” dagdag pa ni Luzuriaga.

“The Mang Inasal Mang-aawit music advocacy program comes at a time when OPM needs it the most. It is one big step to reviving our locak music industry that was once the most influential in Asia,” paliwanag naman ni Chris Cahilig, Project Director ng Mang-aawit.

“I have no doubt that many of the eight breakthrough artists will soon become the most prominent OPM artists. And it would be good to remember in the future that they all started from Mang Inasal Mang-aawit,” pagtatapos pa ni Cahilig.
