Korean nab for selling cocaine in Lapu-Lapu City
MANILA, Philippines – A Korean national was arrested for selling ‘cocaine’ to undecover anti-narcotics agents during a buy-bust operation in Lapu-Lapu City on Saturday noon, police reports said Sunday.
Quoting reports coming from the field, PNP Spokesman, Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr., identified the arrested Korean national as Jungmin Park, 28, and temporarily residing in Lapu Lapu City.
The PNP spokesman said, the Korean was arrested in a buy-bust operations conducted by anti-narcotics agents of the Cebu Provincial office with PDEA agents in one of the motel in Sitio Sangi, Brgy. Pajo in Lapu-Lapu City.
Cruz said that Park was immediately nabbed by anti-narcitocs agents after handing out a plastic sachet containing a yellowish powder believed to be ‘cocaine’ to a poseur buyer.
Park is temporarily detained at the Lapu-Lapu City police office pending the filing of appropriate charges against him in the court.
