Be the biggest loser with the three-day diet

GUSTUHIN ko mang sumali sa The Biggest Loser Philippines upang mabawasan ang aking timbang, sa unang requirement pa lang ay tiyak nang hindi na ako papasa.  Unang-una, ang dapat na mabawas na timbang sa isang participant ay at least 100 pounds. Kung ang kasalukuyang timbang ko ay mababawasan ng at least 100 pounds man lang, I’m sure kahit simpleng pagtayo ay baka hindi ko na magawa dahil 40 pounds na lang ang matitira sa akin.

Here are some of the other requirements of the show as posted in Reality TV@Suite 101’s website.  The show requires people who have outgoing personalities, competitive attitudes, and the true desire to lose weight and change their lives.  Candidates must be prepared to work extremely hard and possibly pushed to their breaking points by the trainers.  Individuals must be willing to bare their problems as well as their bodies on national television.  Contestants on the show will be pushed to their physical and emotional limits as they endure grueling workouts.

They will be driven to overcome personal fears, such as heights and swimming, in the name of weight loss.  Most importantly, they will be challenged to set aside previous attitudes, excuses, habits, and vices to change their lives forever.

Nakasisiguro ako na napakarami sa atin ang hindi papasa sa mga requirement na ito.  Subali’t ‘wag mag-alala, may pag-asa pa. You will not put as much effort as the Biggest Loser contestants, but you will be losing ten pounds in 3 days! Yes, ten pounds in 3 days without skipping meals!  Ayon sa mga usap usapan, ang Biggest Loser contestants daw ay pinapakain lang ng lugaw sa almusal at isang pisngi ng mangga sa tanghalian. The other details I do not know anymore.  But just the thought of it sends shivers down my spine. No way, not for me.  And I have to do all that in four months at the very least? On the first day I’ll be out of it.

Here’s one option that I myself have tried.  I lost 15 pounds along the way without even repeating it. “Believe me, it works,” says Ms Ting Ting Cojuangco, President of the Philippine Public Safety College.  She imposed the diet on the policemen and her staff at the PPSC who eventually lost weight and got leaner.

Follow the diet three days of the week until you reach your desired weight.

Important: Drink four glasses of water or diet soda per day. You can add herbs, salt, pepper, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard or ketchup to your food.

Note: Follow the diet for three days and lose 10 pounds. It works based on a chemical reaction so you must eat everything in the diet without substituting.

This is scientifically proven. You can have as much water, tea, salt, pepper as you like but no other seasonings. After going on the three-day diet, you can eat normally for four days and then go back to it. But do not overeat on those four days.

DAY 1
Breakfast
Black coffee or tea (with 1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal)
1/2 grapefruit or juice
1 toast with 1 tablespoon peanut butter

Lunch
1/2 cup of tuna
1 toast
Black coffee or tea (with 1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal)

Dinner
3 ounces any lean meat or chicken
1 cup green beans
1 cup carrots
1 apple
1 cup regular vanilla ice cream

DAY 2
Breakfast
Black coffee or tea (with 1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal)
1 egg
1/2 banana
1 toast

Lunch
1 cup cottage cheese or tuna
8 regular saltine crackers

Dinner
2 beef franks
1 cup broccoli or cabbage
1/2 cup carrots
1/2 banana
1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream

DAY 3
Breakfast
Black coffee or tea (with 1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal)
5 regular saltine crackers
1 ounce cheddar cheese
1 apple

Lunch
1 boiled egg
1 toast
Black coffee or tea (with 1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal)

Dinner
1 cup tuna
1 cup carrots
1 cup cauliflower
1 cup melon
1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream
