Enchong Dee walang kasingkuripot kahit sa girlfriend kuno
THE doyenne of entertainment journalism Manay Ethel Ramos recently placed Enchong Dee on a blazing hot seat before friends in the entertainment media when he said that he is “kuripot” as in tight-fisted as far as pushing for clean living as a lifestyle is concerned.
“Kaya ayokong mag-smoke because can you imagine how much do we spend for a pack of cigarettes a day? We burn our money, and we burn too our health for no reason at all,” said Enchong.
“Kaya ba hindi ka nag-girlfriend dahil kuripot ka?” Manay Ethel pressed.
“Hindi naman,” Enchong curtly replied.
“May girlfriend ka na ba?”
“Inspiration lang, hindi girlfriend,” said Enchong.
Enchong refused to name names, but many are of the opinion that he must be referring to his loveteam Erich Gonzales (No, darling. She’s not the one. – Ed) with whom he has done several movies (Paano Ko Sasabihin, I Do) and TV shows (Katorse, Tanging Yaman, Magkaribal and the current Maria La del Barrio).
But he says they’re just the best of friends. “Not yet my girlfriend, but just an inspiration,” he says. “Everyone needs an inspiration.” “Secret muna. I won’t say anything else,” which more than intrigued the glowing moderator at hand Rikka Dylim who looked every inch an eater of Nutrilite’s latest food supplements.
Anyway, Enchong was officially launched by Amway as their brand ambassador for Nutrilite, the world’s leading brand of vitamin, mineral and dietary supplements for anyone at any life stage, made from natural ingredients in their own organic farms from plants and herbs grown in Nutrilite’s own organic farms in various parts of the world, such as in Brazil and the United States. These food supplements make up what we sometimes lack in plant nutrients, according to Amway marketing manager Leni Olmedo.
They choose Enchong as their endorser because he’s clean living, very healthy as he was a member of the Philippine swim team who competed in the SEA Games abd Asian Games, and he has a big fan base,” says Nutrilite manager Lenny Olmedo. “Also, we got him as we learned he’s really been taking our Nutrilite Double X combination of vitamins, minerals and phythonutrients.”
“That’s true,” says Enchong. “My mom introduced me to it. When you’re young kasi, you feel you’re invulnerable, then nagkaroon ako ng dengue and I got hospitalized. Doon ko na-realized that I should really boost my resistance and immune system and Nutrilite Double X is perfect for this.”
Nutrilite recommends that we eat a rainbow of colorful fruits and vegetables everyday, targeting a recommended goal of from 5 to 9 servings. Such would give or add color to our makulay na daigdig, the same way that it does to Enchong’s.
They have a fan page, facebook.com/NutriliteCOLORurLIFE. The first 200 to like the page will get a free 6-day supply or Nutrilite Double X worth P900.00. In November, they will start the colorurlife.com website that will show webisodes of Enchong and how he makes his life colorful with the help of Nutrilite. Watch out for it.
