Rebels robbed ex-colonel’s house in Bukidnon
A GROUP of thirty heavily armed communist rebels ransacked the house of a former military colonel of guns and cash early Monday morning in a remote village in Bukidnon, police reports said.
Reports reaching Camp Crame said robbed by communist rebels was the house of ex-military colonel Alexander Noble at Sitio Gata, Brgy Sayawan, Impasugong town.
The reports said that around 5:30am, the rebels led by two women, swooped down on the house of the former military official, who was out of town.
The rebels carted away some P4,000 in cash, one shotgun; twocal .38 revolver and a cellphone, reports said.
The reports said that elements of Impasugong MPS together with personnel from 10th Regional Public Safety Battalion, are now conducting pursuit operations against the rebels.
