Newly crowned queens!
TATLONG naggagandahang dilag ang iprinoklamang Mutya ng Pilipinas Queens for the year 2011 sa ginanap na Grand Coronation Night nito which was held last Friday, De-cember 02, 2011 sa San Juan Arena, San Juan City, Metro Manila.
The three newly-crowned queens who were proclaimed Mutya ng Pilipinas International, Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism at Mutya ng Pilipinas Overseas Communities, bested twenty-seven other equally stunning and gorgeous ladies representing different regions of the country and several Filipino Communities in other parts of the world.
The Mutya ng Pilipinas International and Tourism winners received Php 200,000.00 in cash and other gift prizes from the Pageant Sponsors, while on the other hand the Mutya ng Pilipinas Overseas Community winners took home Php 100,000.00 also in cash.
Candidate # 6 Vickie Marie S. Ruston, 19, from Bacolod City and have 5’5 in height, measures 34-23-36 won the title Mutya ng Pilipinas-International, Felicia Baron of Souuthwest, USA, 18, 5’8 tall and measures 34-26-37 was proclaimed Mutya ng Pilipinas-Tourism, Bea Rose Santiago of Canada, 21, 5’8 and a half tall, measures 34-25-38 won the title Mutya ng Pilipinas Overseas Community, Diana Sunshine Rademann, 19 of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, 5’5 and measures 33 and a half, 25-35, Mutya ng Pilipinas 2011 First Runner-up and Tifani Alexandra Cinco Grimes of Northern California, 22 years old, 5’9 tall and measures 34-26-38 got the title as Second Runner-up.
Two latter Mutya winners who were proclaimed Mutya ng Pilipinas 2011 First and Second Runners-up and received Php 50,000.00 cash and gifts.
Several Special Awards were also given to other deserving Mutya candidates such as: Mutya Frienship, Model Discovery of the year (Best in Long Gown), Best in Swim suit, Photographers Choice, Mutya Best in Talent, Mutya ng Pilipinas – Sheridan, Best Designer Award, Mutya – Ms. Mags (Best in Casual Dress), Mutya-Camera Club of the Phillipines, Mutya – Informatics, Mutya ng Pilipinas Yoga, Mutya Ever Bilena, Mutya – Zen Ambassador 2011 and Mutya-Golden Bay award.
The events also features the finest in Filipino artistry in Fashion and Music, the candidates paraded in their tropical inspired evening gowns during the opening number, designed by some of the country’s top fashion designer. The Mutya semi-finalists later changed in glamorous evening gowns created by the Philippines’ Ambassador of Fashion to the World no other than Mama Renee Salud. A certain Edwin Uy got the prize as the best fashion designer.
ABS-CBN artist Christian Bautista of the The Kitchen Musical and Sony Music Recording artist, debonair Mark Allain provided world-class performances on stage during the pageant. Model and VJ Ms. Sarah Meier and Model/Actor Andrew Wolfe together with Mutya Queens Miss Kristine Caballero and Kirby Ann Basken hosted the affair.
Mutya ng Pilipinas 2011 Beauty Adventure Tourism Search was presented in cooperation with Mayor Edward Hagedorn of the amazing city of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan and Sheridan Beach Resort and Spa, the Official Home Resort of Mutya ng Pilipinas.

Last but not the least, the 2011 Mutya ng Pilipinas Beauty Tourism Adventure Grand Coronation Night will be aired nationwide on ABS-CBN Studio 23 on Sunday, December 11, 2011 which will start at 9:00 to 11:00 p.m.
