Police kills three robbers in CamSur
MANILA, Philippines – Three motorcyle riding robbers were killed following a shootout with police operatives in Goa town in Camarines Sur on Monday afternoon, police reports said Tuesday.
Reports reaching Camp Crame’s central operations center said the shootout between police and robbers occurred around 2:45 p.m. in the vicinity of Barangay Napawon, Goa town in Camarines Sur.
The shootout occurred after three motorcycle riding men robbed Ramirez Lending Enterprise, a money lending shop in Brgy. Tagongtong also of same town, reports said.
The reports said the incident was quickly reported to Goa Municipal police station, which immediately dispatched a patrol and SWAT team to chase the suspects.
However, when caught-up, the robbers opted to shoot it out with pursuing lawmen resulting to the killing of the three still unidentified suspects, reports said.
The reports said police operatives were able to recover from the encounter site two cal .38 revolver, a fan knife, the loot money and the motorcycle used by the suspects.
