“Prior to appearing before me at my office, Mr. Elevado contacted me via text and conveyed his desire to explain his side of the story. At that time, I had already given him a deadline to report to me otherwise, he would be declared absent without leave and therefore qualify to be dropped from the rolls of BOC employees,” ani Biazon.

“The Customs Administrative aide (Elevado) has been under suspension since the time that the incident was made known to me, prior to the media reports that came out. He last reported to work on January 25 and has been absent until today,” ayon pa sa Commissioner.

Jeff Sarate.
