2 hurt in Cotabato City blast
TWO persons were hurt after an explosion occurred between a government building and a barter trade area in downtown Cotabato City late Thursday evening (March 1), military reports said today.
Initial military reports said the explosion, believed to be caused by an improvised explosive device (IED), occurred at around 7:42 p.m. between the GSIS building and barter trade along Guttierez Street.
Two persons were wounded in the explosion and were identified as Bainot Pasandalan and Lani Pasandalan, the reports said.
Brig. General Manuel Ochotorena, assistant commander of the 6th Infantry Division said that motive for the explosion still unknown while investigation are still on going to determine the type of IED used. Anthony Vargas
