Pamilya ng nabaril na reporter tutulungan ng M’cañang

NAKAHANDA ang Malakanyang na tulungan ang pamilya ni Fernan Angeles, senior reporter ng Daily Tribune na binaril kagabi (Marso 11).

Si Fernan, na isang miyembro ng Malacañang Press Corps reporter ay nananatiling nasa kritikal na kalagayan ngayon sa Pasig City Hospital matapos magtamo ng pitong bala ng baril at bali sa kamay.

Ayon kay Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda, na nakikipag-ugnayan na sila sa pamilya ni Angeles.

“We have also been in close contact with Mr. Angeles’ wife so as to render assistance to them in their hour of need. We have also communicated with the officers of MPC to assure them that all will be done to ensure the welfare and recovery of Mr. Angeles,” anito.

Inamin ni Lecierda na nagulat sila sa nangyari kay Angeles at sinabi na inatasan na ng Palasyo si Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo na magkasa ng malalim na imbestigasyon sa pamamaril sa mamamahayag.

Nauna rito, personal na tinawagan ni Deputy Presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte si PNP spokesman Agrimero Cruz para tiyakin ang masusing imbestigasyon sa nangyari kay Angeles habang.

“Yes. I called PNP Spokesperson Agrimero Cruz to make sure a thorough investigation is done, and PS Lacierda spoke to Sec. Robredo also,” ayon kay Valte.
