‘Warlord of the roads’ babaklasin sa lansangan

“This motivation is evident by the fact that there are some enterprising crooks who sell commemorative plates with a come-on that the same shall extend the bearer exemption to the number coding scheme implemented by the Metro Manila Development Authority. Moreover, commemorative plates bearing the names of law enforcement agencies seem to suggest that these vehicles are owned by some influential person or gun-wielding Mafioso whom one may not wish to catch an irk of,” giit niya.

Aniya, kailangan ng isang batas upang tuluyan nang tapusin ang maling paggamit ng commemorative plates sa ilang indibidwal na umaastang “warlords of the road.”

“The issuance and use of commemorative plates for motor vehicles is hereby regulated in accordance with the provisions of this act,” giit ni Lapid.
