Webber’s win in Monaco marks history in F1
FOR the second time in three years, Mark Webber of Red Bull won the Monaco Grand Prix.
His triumph in the streets of the principality made him the sixth driver in as many races to win this year, a first in the 62-year history of Formula 1.
Finishing second was Nico Rosberg of Mercedes, the Ferrari of Fernando Alonso, reigning champion Sebastian Vettel in his Red Bull, McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa in the second Ferrari.
Alonso now leads the championship standings by three points to Vettel and Webber, with Hamilton 13 points down in fourth, and Rosberg 17 points behind in fifth. Noli Cruz
