“That’s why we need a briefing from SWS survey kasi ‘yung… We’re comparing SWS and Pulse Asia. ‘Yung drop medyo consistent eh. But the thing that was really very surprising to us was ‘yung drop dito sa NCR ‘yung dissatisfaction. That’s something we cannot explain.Plus you must remember that during this time, prior to the survey that was taken, Mindanao was in a bit of a storm over the outages and in spite of that the President appeared to have a major—approval in Mindanao.
So these are things that… You look at it, you look at the background of all the surveys being taken and suddenly you see a response which doesn’t seem to jibe with the reality under which the survey was taken.
So it’s something that we’re interested to know, we’re curious to know kung bakit may ganoong correlation, is there a correlation. But we’re not saying that we question the figures. What we’re saying is that it gives us pause to see kung… May mga certain realities… Is it consistent with the opinions of the people that were surveyed eh. But nonetheless like we mentioned, ang is survey is a snapshot of a particular time. Regardless of whether it’s up or down, the President will continue to do his job of pursuing inclusive growth in the economy and our crusade in anti-corruption,” ang paliwanag nito.
“It is in this context that we respond to the findings of the SWS 2nd Quarter Survey. Satisfaction with the President continues to reflect overwhelming overall support: 63% Satisfied, 21% Dissatisfied. In most parts of the country, the President enjoys strong majority approval. It is important to note that the net satisfaction rating of the President continues to be the highest since June 1999,” ayon kay Sec. Lacierda.
“And a government actively working for all sectors in pursuit of inclusive growth. In obtaining widespread national support for his programs, we believe the public sees the efforts being done, and the accomplishments to date,” ani Lacierda.
