LP-NP-NPC coalition, hindi pa plantsado – Drilon

HINDI pa rin sarado ang nilulutong kowalisyon sa pagitan ng Liberal Party (LP) ni Pangulong Noynoy Aquino, Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) ni Danding Cojuangco at Nacionalista Party (NP) ni Sen. Manny Villar Jr.

Ito ang nilinaw ni Senador Franklin Drilon, vice chairman ng LP na patuloy pa ang pag-uusap ng pamunuan ng tatlong partido kung saan kabilang sa pinag-uusapan pa ay kung iilan ang ipapasok na kandidato ng bawat partido sa bubuuing administration slate.

“It’s not yet sarado. It’s a work in program. But there is a substantial progress… There are no fixed numbers. That’s under discussion,” ayon kay Drilon.

Kinumpirma rin ni Drilon na kabilang sa kanilang long list si dating Sen. Jamby Madrigal habang tumanggi namang magkomento ang senador kung ikinokonsidera nila sina senators Francis  Escudero, Loren Legarda, Gringo Honasan at ang anak ni Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile na si Jack Enrile.

“That is a long list, many names are there. As we get near October, we will have to assess it… We are talking about alliances, party alliances. That is a matter to be decided as we finalize the coalition,” dagdag pa ni Drilon.

Gayunman, pinanindigan ng senador na magkakaroon ng sariling kandidato ang administration coalition kung saan hindi  sila papayag na may guest candidate mula sa ibang samahan.

“President Erap said he does not want guest candidates. That’s the policy they’ll adopt. Kami, sang-ayon diyan. Walang guest candidates. President Erap has said so,” wika pa ng senador.

Una nang kinumpirma ng NP na kabilang sa kanilang kandidato ay sina dating Las Piñas Rep. Cynthia Villar, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano at Rep. Robert Ace Barbers.
