“Let me put it this way, there are fundamental reasons there are practical and philosophical. They have adopted an exclusionary policy in the beginning and therefore because of that the LP decided to forge ahead with its own coalition. Philosophically, there are some members of their slate which are in continuous opposition to the policies of the Aquino administration and that it you’ve got fundamental policy differences, a coalition would not likely be a plausible event to that case. But it is up there. That’s where the fundamental and philosophical and practical considerations are. We have to look into that. and sinabi kasi nun una noon we don’t need anyone else. They have already formed their own coalition why are they open to coalition with the Liberal Party. So it is up in the air. Why they decide to change their mind.
“I have no idea that is the reason I was surprised yesterday. I read it from congressman JV ejercito. That’s why we don’t know previously they have already said they have adopted an exclusionary policy. We don’t need anyone else except the three political groups. Why is there suddenly… Certainly we would like to ask them why is there a sudden openness to their party when previously they have already mentioned we don’t need any other political groups other than three groups. So early on they have adopted exclusionary policy,” ang pahayag ng opisyal.
“Pero yun din ang dapat nila na tanungin you have already adopted an exclusionary policy in the beginning. So whether one is open or not I think that is beyond the issue because LP has already forged ahead with their coalition. I really don’t know how they will work at it. I don’t know if the LP leaders are talking with the UNA that is something I don’t know,” ani Lacierda.
