Woods moves to third in British Open

TIGER WOODS shot a second straight 67 at Royal Lytham & St. Annes to put himself in position for major championship No. 15.

His 6-under 134 total in the halfway mark of the 2012 British Open was four shots off the lead and in third place heading into the weekend of the year’s third major championship.

Eight times in Woods’ career, he has opened with two rounds in the 60s. The previous seven times, he’s gone on to win.

Brandt Snedeker followed up an opening day 66 with an even more impressive 64 to grab the lead at 10-under 130. First round leader Adam Scott was just a shot back following a 67. Noli S. Cruz
