JOBERT Sucaldito is a good friend of mine and I do respect him.
Conflicting man ang aming paniniwala sa mga bagay-bagay, it never did stand in the way of our friendship dahil mabait rin naman talaga si Jobert at di niya kasalanang mahal niya si Ms. Nora Aunor at ako nama’y labs si Queenstar Vilma Santos.
Anyhow, oozing with feistiness in his column the other day ang aming amigo dahil nairita siya sa pag-question yata ni katotong Willie Fernandez sa best actress award ni Ms. Aunor coming from a private sector (a group of Italian critics so they say).
Well, hindi ko na pahahabain pa ito, Ms. Aunor can reap all the acting awards in most of the international filmfest in the world but these would never compensate with the fact that she’s already a veritable has been.
A relic of a once most colorful existence.
Period. Walang comma!
Don’t get me wrong! Awards are important since these would cement your achievements in the field you hold so dear. But admit it, box-office is of vital importance, too, since it gives the final verdict whether you still would stay in the business or not.
And right now, the box-office is being reigned in fabulously by the Queenstar for all seasons Ms. Vilma San tos.
Could it buy you a decent meal?
Or would it suffice to give you shelter in times of old age?
Honestly, kung ako ang tatanungin, they can have all the citations and awards in the world but I want the box-office at all cost!
O, siya, go back to Iriga and plant kamote, katnga, and ampalaya. Hahahahahahahahaha!
Cheap!
MARAMING petty excuses si Lola Fermi kung bakit di siya makapag-deadline for more than a week now. Hahahahahaha!
Really? In what way? Hakhakhak!
Honestly, she’s earning a lot from TV5 and on top of that, Papa Wil is most supportive of her needs. Hahahahahahaha!
Sumalampak lang siya sa Wil Time Big Time set, payat na ang 20 TO 50 grand na mahihipat niya. Hahahahahaha!
So why should she experience stress of the most severe order, aber?
Hakhakhak!
Ows? Buhkit? Harharhar!
Kung anu-ano pang kaletsehan ang pinagsasasabi when it’s a simple case of liposuction.
Pronto! Pronto raw, o! Hakhakhakhakhak!
Why can’t some people afford to be honest?
What’s wrong in availing of a procedure like liposuction to obliterate the hideous amount of fats that are stored in one’s stomach? Hahahahahahahaha!
That’s most common these days and every woman more than forty appears to have availed of it at one point in their lives. Hahahahahahahaha!
Maria, ang Be Careful With My Heart, napatitingin talaga ako, in obvious admiration, sa machismo ni Papa Chen (Richard) na lalo yatang tumitindi as time goes by.
Going back to tneir daytime soap, iba talaga ang arrive ng chemistry nina Jodi at Papa Chen.
Every time they are together in one scene, parang it ignites electricity at ang tindi-tindi talaga ng kanilang chemistry, you would find yourself sincerely wishing na sila na nga off-cam.
Complimentary rin, so to speak, ang personality nina Richard at Jodi in spite of the fact that their persona- lities are veritably poles apart.
But maybe, that’s what makes them tick.
Napanonood nga pala ang Be Careful With My Heart 10:45 am bago mag-It’s Showtime sa Prime Tanghali ng ABS CBN.
Staying power becomes Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo
WAYBACK during the mid-80s when I started my journalistic career under the competent tutelage of the late Mother Gilda Villasana, I would hear from time to time the name of Ms. Menchu Lauchengco being mentioned along with the heartthrob of that era Raymond Lauchengco.
After almost three decades, would I be surprised to see her sitting side by side with me at the presscon tendered by Atlantis Productions for their forthcoming musical Nine? Hahahahahahahaha!
So, I’m finally meeting the icon of the theater and she did not prove to be a disappointment.
Up-close, she radiates manic energy and confidence as she talks about her craft in that highly educated tongue that’s more Brittish than American.
“It’s so important in this business that you maintain your looks,” she asseverates. “Mother roles are okay but I want to have younger kids and not grown-up ones.
“So. right now,” she goes on animatedly,”I’m really working on my youthful look while I still can. Hahahaha!”
Oo nga naman.
It’s a lot different in the theatre, she says, because in here, you maintain a certain degree of anonymity.
“You go out and nobody knows you,” she avers. “Nobody bothers you.
“It’s really less stressful in the theater,” she opines.
Looking back, she says that she used to do one musical a year when the kids were still young. “Now, it’s a full time job,” she intimates. ”
In the play, she delineates the role of Luisa Confini, wife of rock star and musical theatre favorite Jett Pa- ngan who is Guido Contini in the musical.
The role of Guido was originated in Broadway by Raul Julia, played in the revival by Antonio Baderas and in the film version by Daniel Day Louis.
It’s slated to get staged from September 21 to October 7, 2012 at the 4th floor of Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium RCBC Plaza, Makati city.
For tickets, please contact Atlantis Productions at 8927078/8401187 or Ticketworld at 8919999.
Iba ang arrive sa mga ombres!
WHAT makes this sexy actress much sought-after by men in the business?
Hahahahahahaha!
Competing with the former papa’s magnanimity ba? Hahahahahaha!
Tapos as of presstime, gibsona naman siya ng mga esekolang shoes na branded talaga at pagkamamahal ever!
No wonder, this guy is well-loved by the women he gets entangled with.
‘Pero kwidaw, once he’s through with you, manigas ka! Hahahahahahahaha!
Bigla siyang nagkakaroon ng amnesia.
How so very depressing talaga! Hahahahahahaha!
