PAGASA monitors low pressure area off Eastern Visayas
THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 690 km East of Visayas.
Southwest Monsoon will affect Luzon.
The weather state bureau said the whole country will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over the Western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest to West will prevail over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Southwest to South with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
