“It was said by Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile and me as chairman of the committee that we have no objections to sell the confiscate rice as long as everything is aboveboard and the procedure is proper, they can dispose of the seized goods as they deem necessary,” ayon kay Pangilinan.

“So, there would be no more hindrances on the decision of the agency what to do with the confiscated rice, based on the law,” giit pa ng senador.

“I would say that they cleared us to make that decision (to auction), we will proceed to what we are planning to do, to sell the rice in an auction,” ayon kay Biazon.

“We will exercise due diligence, to ensure that they cannot participate in the auction,” aniya.

“On Indian rice, it will be put in escrow, kung maghahabol pa ang Amira,  kung hindi na diretso na ito as revenue of the government,” paliwanag ni Biazon.
