Malakanyang iwas sa ‘pagsako’ sa ilang partylists

AYAW makisawsaw ng Malakanyang sa desisyon ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) na isako ang ilang partylist groups na makikilahok sana sa 2013 elections.

Katwiran ni Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda, independent agency ang Comelec kaya wala silang balak na makialam sa trabaho nito.

“We will have to rely on their expertise and their discretion to decide which partylist groups should be included or excluded from the election and we are in no way able to or allowed to influence the decision of the COMELEC,” anito.

Wala namang ideya si Sec. Lacierda kung anu-anong partylist groups ang disqualified.

“I have no knowledge of who (in) the affiliations of the partylist groups are concerned. We will have to, again, rely on… We will definitely expect the Commission on Elections to apply evenly the rules on the partylist groups. So that much is expected from them,” ani Sec. Lacierda.

Dumistansiya naman ang Malakanyang sa hirit ng ilang militanteng grupo na hilingin sa Akbayan at Black and White Movement na i-withdraw ang kanilang pagtakbo sa halalan “out of delicadeza”.

Ang dalawang nasabing partylist group ay kapwa kaalyado ng administrasyon kung saan ang Akbayan ay kinabibilangan nina Political Adviser Ronald Llamas, CHR chairperson Eta Rosales at senatorial candidate Risa Hontiveros, habang ang  Black and White Movement naman ay kinabibilangan ni DSWD Sec. Dinky Soliman at Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda.

Samantala, iwas-pusoy naman ang Malakanyang na kumpirmahin kung dapat bang maalis na rin sa listahan ang An Waray katulad ng nangyari sa Ako Bicol na kasama sa tinanggal kahapon.

Ang kinatawan ng An Waray na si Rep. Bem Noel ay malapit na kaalyado ni Pangulong Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
