P91B DILG budget, aprub sa komite

INAPRUBAHAN ng Senate Committee on Finance  ang  P91.144 billion 2013 budget ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) kaya malapit nang pagdebatehan ito sa plenaryo.

Ngunit, natuklasan sa badyet na bumaba ang gastusin ng ahensiya ng 2% kumpara sa gastusin nito nitong 2012 ngunit tumaas naman ang pondong hiningi ni Interior and Local Government Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II mula sa   dating P3.814 Billion  naging  P7.459 Billion ito o  may pagtaas na 96%.

Aprubado din  ang budget ng Local Government Academy mula sa P85.133 Million  tumaas ito ng 19%  o P 101.166 Million.

Philippine Safety College  18% (P203.774M)  mula  P1.135 billion tumaas ito sa P1.338B  National Police Commission (Napolcom)  mula 1.332B  patungo naman sa  P1.392B ; Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, 4% pagtaas mula  P5.574B  patungo sa  P5.774B.

Binawasan naman ang budget ng  Philippine National Police (PNP) ng  8% mula  P73.217B  hanggangg  P67.384B  and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) by 0.3% (P26.246M) from P7.719B in 2012 to P7.693B in 2013.

“It was also noted on the Comparative Summary Appropriations, DILG has zero allocations for pension in 2013. The current (2012) allocation for pension for all retired personnel of the department is amounting to P17.701B,” ayon kay Drilon.

“For personal services, DILG has allocated an amount of P72.682 billion, a decreased of 8% (P6.152B) from current budget of P78.834 billion; for Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) has 44% (P4.880B) increased from P11.021 billion in 2012 to P15.902 billion in 2013; and Capital Outlay, 15% decreased (P463.701M) from P3.023 billion in 2012 to P2.559 billion for 2013”  paliwanag pa  ni Drilon, chairperson ng Senate committee on finance.
