Burglars cart away P250, 000 worth of mobile phones in Agusan del Sur
STILL unidentified suspects have carted away more than P250, 000 worth of cellular phones from a mobile phone shop in a remote village in Agusan del Sur, police reports said Thursday.
Belated reports reaching the PNP operations center in Camp Crame said that the burglary incident occurred between Monday night and Tuesday morning at a phone shop in Brgy. 2, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur.
Investigation revealed that the unidentified suspects forced their way into the mobile phone store owned by Edmundo Magno Arsenal by destroying the ceiling of the shop, the reports said.
The reports said the suspects once inside, started ransacking the phone shop and carted away different brand of cellular phones worth at least P274, 000 before escaping towards the same route of entry.
The burglary incident was only discovered at around 8am Tuesday by the shop owner when he opened his establishment for business, the reports said.
Police are now conducting investigation for the identification and possible arrest of the suspects, the reports added.
