P50 million worth of illegal drugs seized from an American in Makati
ANTI-DRUG authorities have seized some P50 million worth of illegal drugs from an American national in an anti-drug operation in a Makati City before noontime Tuesday, police reports said.
Initial reports at the PNP operations center in Camp Crame identified the American national arrested in the anti-drug operations as Bryan Hill, 32 and temporary residing at unit 10-M Columns tower in Makati City.
The operations was conducted by elements of the PNP Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group (AID-SOTF) following reports that of the American’s involvement in illegal drug trade.
AID-SOTF legal officer, Chief Insp. Roque Merdiya, said that a kilo of suspected shabu was seized from the condominium unit of the American national, who is suspected to be supplier of illegal to prominent family members in Makati City.
The police officer said that another nine kilos of suspected ‘shabu’ were then seized by their operatives inside Hill’s Pajero SUV that was sporting a red plate registered to Napocor.
The American national was brought to the AID-SOTF office in Camp Crame for documentation and proper disposition.
