Pagkaka-itsapwera ng BWM, tanggap ng Palasyo

TANGGAP ng Malakanyang ang pagkaka-itsapuwera ng Black and White Movement sa party list na sasabak sa 2013 elections.

Ayon kay Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda, patunay lamang ito na walang kinikilingan ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) at pinapanatili ng komisyon ang sarili nilang “rules and standards.”

“We respect that decision. As to the next action that the Black and White will take, I don’t know yet. I haven’t spoken to the members of the Black and White since yesterday,” ayon kay Sec. Lacierda.

“This is a division decision. I don’t know the next action that the Black and White will take. I do believe, however—let me maintain—since I’m a former member of the Black and White, I know the principles that it stands for. But, as to its disqualification, that’s another matter,” aniya pa rin.

Sa ulat, inaprubahan ng komisyon ang aplikasyon ng party-list group ng mga taong may kapansanan habang ibinasura naman ang akreditasyon ng ‘Black and White Movement’ na kinaaniban ng ilang kaalyado ni Pangulong Benigno Aquino III.
