Danish killed, partner hurt in gun attack in Agusan del Sur
A DANISH national was killed and his live-in partner was seriously wounded after they were attacked late Wednesday night by still unidentified gunmen in a remote village in Agusan del Sur, police reports said Friday.
Belated reports at the PNP operations center in Camp Crame identified the shooting victims Egon Jansoe, 53 and his live-partner, Marivic Plaza and both are resident Purok 6A, Brgy. San Teodoro, Bunawan.
The reports said that the two were washing their clothes at around 11:30pm Wednesday outside of their kitchen when they were attacked and shot several times by still unidentified gunmen.
The two were rushed to the Bunawan District Hospital after the attacked, but Jansoe was pronounced dead on arrival by doctors while Plaza was transferred to Davao Regional Hospital for further treatment, the reports said.
The reports said that responding policemen recovered from the scene three slugs and five empty cartridges of 45 caliber pistols while investigation are underway for possible identification and arrest of the suspects who fled after the incident.
