Electrician died of electrocution in Butuan City – PNP

AN electrician died of electricution while working at a construction site in downtown Butuan City Saturday afternoon, police reports said Sunday.

Reports at the PNP operations center in Camp Crame identified the victim as Jessrell Manos, 24 and works as assistant electrician of Robinsons Contruction.

The reports said the incident occured at around 1:30pm Saturday at a construction site at JC Aquino Ave., of said city.

Initial police investigation revealed that victim was accidentally electrocuted while installing electrical wirings at the construction site, reports said.

The reports said that the victim was holding the electrical wirings that were connected to the live wire of ANECO while installing electrical connection to the vibrator when he got electrocuted.

Victim was then rushed by his companions to Butuan Doctors Hospital for medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician, reports said.

The reports said that the remains of the victim will be subjected for autopsy to determine the cause of death and possible foul play.
