Lawmakers give their hopes and wishes for 2013
AS the year 2012 comes to its closing stages and the country will be welcoming the New Year, several lawmakers have presented their dreams, hopes and wishes for the country and the Aquino administration for the year 2013.

Teodoro said he wished for the country to remain steadfast in its economic and political gains and also hoped for significant pieces of legislation to finally be ratified into law for the betterment of Filipinos.
The Marikina lawmaker added that his final wish is for the President’s good health as there are still three more years to continue and implement reforms that the country badly needs.

“The fierce pride we hold in what we do for the country is matched only by our gratitude for our leaders and statesmen. We pray that the stewardship of President Noynoy Aquino will continue to thrive even in the wake of the numerous challenges and we bid our leaders and citizens to take the right choices for our future,” Zamora stressed.
Zamora called on the citizenry to claim the promise of prosperity for 2013 to help rebuild not only from the tragedy brought on by Typhoons Pablo and Quinta, but to usher in a better Philippines for the world.
Rep. Reena Concepcion Obillo (Party-list, Una ang Pamilya) said Una ang Pamilya Party-list heartily wishes every Filipino family the blessings and peace of the Lord and Savior for the coming New Year.
“I also hope that the new opportunities in 2013 provide the needed breakthroughs for every family towards a better life,” Obillo said.
