Three-year old girl killed by dad’s improvised gun
A THREE-year old girl was killed by an ‘improvised gun’ she and her elder brother was toying with Friday morning inside heir home in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur, police reports said Saturday.
Reports sent to the PNP operations center by Caraga regional police office identified the victim of accidental firing as Stella Dancalan Anog.
The reports said that the incident took place at around 8:30am Friday inside the Anog’s residence on P-10, Brgy. Poblacion, Bayugan City.
The victim together her five-year old brother were toying with an improvised gun when it accidentally went off hitting her in the face and killing her instantly, the reports said.
The reports said that investigation by responding policemen revealed that the improvised gun belongs to the victim’s father, Brian Saac Anog and three shotgun pellets were recovered from the scene.
Police seized the handgun and Brian Anog was brought to the Bayugan City Police station for proper disposition while the victim’s body now lies at Mata Funeral Homes in Bayugan City, the reports said.
