Woman hacked to death by brother in Agusan del Sur
AN elderly woman was hacked and killed by her brother late Wednesday afternoon in a sub-urban village in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur, police reports said Thursday.
Reports at the PNP operations center in Camp Crame identified the hacking victim as Rosita Timtim Tumaquin, married of Brgy. Grace State, Bayugan City.
The suspect, who fled after the hacking, was identified as Bebenciolo Timtim Tumaquin, 54, married and also a resident place, reports said.
The reports said the incident occured around 4pm at the said place where the Tumaquin siblings were seen having a heated argument resulting to the hacking of the victim with a “bolo”.
The victim sustained wound on the different parts of her body and immediately brought to New Bayugan Medical Hospital for treatment but pronnounce dead by attending physician, reports said.
The reports said that the suspect fled towards the Prosperidad area after the incident and are now being pursued by elements of Bayugan City Police Station.
