Miller joins elite points, assists club
ANDRE MILLER of the Denver Nuggets became just the eighth player in the NBA to score at least 15,000 points and dish out at least 7,500 assists.
He accomplished the feat Thursday night (Friday morning in Manila), scoring on a mid-range jumper in the first quarter of their 97-101 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The 36-year-old playmaker joined the club that includes Oscar Robertson, Gary Payton, John Stockton, Isiah Thomas, Magic Johnson, Jason Kidd and Steve Nash.
Miller started in place of Ty Lawson, who came off the bench while still recovering from a strained left Achilles. Noli Cruz
